Sponsorship
The Oultwood LG index is a non-profit making enterprize.
However, there are considerable costs in keeping the index in its up-to-date state.
To help cover these costs, Oultwood is now inviting both public sector and commerical organisations to sponsor individual index pages.

Between 4,000 and 9,000 users visit the site each day.
December 2006 user (session) statistics:
These visitors generate over 100,000 page hits a day with a weekly average of 750,000.
The annual number of page hits is almost 40,000,000 (the actual figure for the last quarter of 2006 was 10,289,929).
On a few occasions the index has had unusally high numbers of visitors on single day.
This has been as high as 160,000 hits and is the result of the index being mentioned on TV, Radio or a national newspaper.
The actual number of page hits for the site is actually far greater than this.
The reason for this is that there are a number of cached version of the site around the world and the hits on these sites are not recorded.
